Job Title: Evening Janitor – Full-Time & Part-Time
Community: Various – Fernie, Sparwood
Facility: Various
Status: Full time, Part-time, Casual
Wage Rate: $21 to $25 per hour
Position Summary
Goldstar Cleaning Services is seeking RELIABLE, RESPONSIBLE, DEDICATED high energy applicants to join our diverse team of evening and weekend cleaning professionals! We offer excellent wages, flexible hours and flexible shifts in client facilities located throughout Elk Valley BC and beyond.
Key Skills/Abilities
- Able to report to work promptly for all work shifts
- Able to stand/ walk for up to 8 hours per day
- Able to bend, reach, crouch and lift for up to 8 hours per day
- Able to operate cleaning equipment – e.g. vacuum
- Able to read, write and speak at a grade 10 level or above.
- Able to work alone and in night time setting
Key Duties include but are not limited to
- Garbage & recycling collection
- Sweeping hard surface floors
- Mopping hard surface floors
- Vacuuming carpeted floors
- Cleaning & disinfecting washroom facilities
- Adhering to the British Columbia Occupational Health and Safety Regulation
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current and valid BC Drivers Licence
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
